Mountain Paradise Cabin Rental Policies

Cabin Rental Information

Nightly rates: $155-$475.

- Weekly rates: $850-$2850
- Additional guests: $10 per night plus tax
- Children 12 and under stay for free

Pet Information
- Night rates: $15/pet, $30/two pets, $45.00/three pets (only 1 cabin allows 3 dogs, a special security deposit is required)
- Weekly rates: $100/pet, $175/two pets, $250/three pets
- Most cabins have a limit of 2 pets, one cabin allows 3 pets (special security deposit is required)

 
Reservation & Payment Information
- A 30% deposit, a Reservation fee or $55.00 (non-refundable), and a major credit card are required to secure a reservation. Deposits during holidays may be higher.
- The balance is due 15 days prior to your arrival. Payment options are as follows:
  • Credit/Debit Cards. Unless prior arrangements are made, the balance will be placed on the guest's credit card on file 15 days prior to arrival.
  • Bank/Cashier's Check, Money Order, Traveler's Checks, and Personal/Company Checks must be received by Mountain Paradise no later than 15 days prior to the guest's arrival.  Mountain Paradise must be informed of this method of payment no later than 30 days prior to the guest's arrival. Checks for more than the amount of the reservation cannot be accepted.
  • Reservations made within 15 days of the guest's arrival date must be paid in full when the reservation is requested.
  • No-shows. Guests are responsible for 100% of the reservation cost in the event of a no-show.
  • Cancellations:
    • 100% refund (minus a cancellation fee) if cancelled greater than 45 days prior to the arrival date,
    • 45 days - 16 days: The guest is welcome to reschedule the reservation. The rescheduled arrival date must be within 12 months of the original arrival date. Please note: The cost of the reservation will not be reduced regardless of duration of the stay, number of guests, guest services, etc. Additional costs may be added based on changes (number of guests, dates selected, etc).
    • No refund is provided for cancellations within 15 days of arrival.
  • Late Cancellations. Cancellations must be made prior to 15 days in advance of the guest's arrival date.  Guests canceling a reservation within 15 days of the scheduled arrival date are responsible for 100% of the reservation cost.
  • Changes to the Reservation.  Deletions to reservations must be made at least 16 days prior to the arrival date.  Additions to the reservation may be made at anytime.  Please note: certain guest services (personal chefs, customized chocolate baskets, etc) require advance noticed.

- When your deposit is received, a letter or email confirming your reservation will be sent to you along with directions to our location.  Please review the information to ensure Dates, Number of Guests, Rates, etc are accurate.  If you find any errors, please contact us immediately.

 
Guest Registration & Check-out
- Guest check-in is available after 4:00pm. If you would like to arrive either before or after these times, please contact us no later than 24 hours prior to your arrival date so that we may strive to accommodate you. It is necessary that late arrival have a confirmed reservation (i.e. a deposit must be on file).
- Check-out is prior to 10am.  Please inform us at time of check-in if you would prefer a late checkout.  We try to provide late checkouts - it is solely determined by our cabin cleaning schedule and if the cabin will be occupied by another guest the same day you check-out.  
- Keys. Guests are responsible for returning all keys at the conclusion of their stay. If a key is lost, the guest is responsible for the cost of re-keying the cabin locks. No additional keys may be made without the express written consent of the respective cabin owner. The management company is not able to make additional keys for guests.

 
Cabin Policies
- Alcoholic beverages. In accordance with Georgia law, no person under the legal age of 21 can consume alcohol beverages. Additionally, consumption of alcohol while using the hot tub or Jacuzzi is strongly discouraged.
- Smoking is not permitted inside the cabins. Outside smoking is permitted, but please do not litter and be careful to NOT cause a forest fire.
  Telephone. All cabins are equipped with a telephone for local calls. All long distance calls require a credit card, 800 number access, or a calling card.
- Fireplace. Our cabins are equipped with either a wood-burning fireplace, a gas fireplace(s), or both.  Wood is provided for your convenience at those cabins with wood-burning fireplaces at no charge.
